When talking about airports, it is important to be clear about exactly what information you wish to know. The nearest airport may not be the one that is usually used for international, or local flights. It may be a military airport, for example - or perhaps a small one used only by private noncommercial pilots.
空港のことを話すときは、確実にどんな情報を知りたいのかはっきりとさせることが大切です。
The nearest airport は、国際線や国内線のことを言うのに普通使われるフレーズではないかもしれません。例えば、軍用の空港だったり、プライベートのパイロットが使う小さな空港だったりするかもしれません。
My first two sentences use the word close to express the idea you are referring to. In most cases, the airport that is closest to someone is the easiest to use. Both sentences ask the same question in two different ways and either would be correct.
The last sentence uses the idea of convenient. Sometimes, the closest airport isn't the easiest to use. This question asks which is the easiest to use. This question would be appropriate if someone is picking you up from the airport or if you want their advice on which airport you should use.
Which airport is the most convenient to where you live?
「最も近い」を「最も便利」に言い換えて、
Which airport is the most convenient to where you live?
「あなたの住んでいるところに行くのに最も便利な空港はどこですか?」
という具合にconvenientという単語を使うこともできます。
なお、日本語では「どこ?」という問いかけではありますが、これは空港がどこにあるかという所在地を聞いているのではなく、数ある空港のうちの「どれか?」を聞いているため、これに従って使うべき疑問詞はwhereではなくwhichだということに注意してください。

When travelling to someone you want to find the closest or place that is nearsest to make your travels easier for you so you might ask 'which airport is closest to you?' if you want to explain their home then you can add 'closest to your home?' or 'closest to where you live?'
遠方に住む人のところに行くときは、最寄りの空港が分かると旅が楽になります。
ですから、次のように言えます。
'Which airport is closest to you?'
(最寄りの空港はどこですか)
家について説明したいなら、'closest to your home?' または 'closest to where you live? を加えることができます。
"Where is your closest airport from your home?" this phrase is asking for the location of the closest airport.
"Whats the nearest airport to where you live?" this sentence leans towards asking what is the airport i.e the name of the airport.
both very similar questions and very often used casual phrases.
"Where is your closest airport from your home?"(あなたの家から一番近い空港はどこにありますか)
= これは最寄りの空港の場所を尋ねています。
"What's the nearest airport to where you live?"(あなたの住んでいるところの一番近くにある空港は何ですか)
= この文はその空港が何かを尋ねています。つまり空港の名前です。
どちらもよく似た質問で、よく使われるカジュアルなフレーズです。
I would often ask directly which airport is the closest to someone's house; however, sometimes for reasons of convenience or expense, people tend to use other airports instead. This is why I would also make sure to ask which airport they normally use or fly from so as to know which would be the most convenient option. At times, local airports tend to charge higher fees or have worse service than larger airports that are further away from one's home, depending on where one lives.
