割り算の答えの余りって英語でなんて言うの？

remainder = 余り

例：
"What is the remainder?"
余りは何ですか？

「18÷4＝4余り2」は英語で：
"Eighteen divided by four equals four, with a remainder of two"
"Eighteen divided by four is four, remainder of two"

数学の問題で「=」は「equals」ですが、よく会話で「is」になります。
2 + 2 = 4
two plus two equals four; two plus two is four

割り算の余りは英語で remainder と言います。

例えば 「4余り2」 は 4 with a remainder of 2 になります。

「18÷4＝4余り2」は英語で Eighteen divided by four equals four with a remainder of two になります。Equals の代わりに is を使うことも出来ます。

割り算 = division
余り = 色々な英訳があります。他の場合で、"excess"か"surplus" (両方「余裕」の意味）が言えますが、数学の余りは"remainder"です。

Remainderだけで十分ですが、division remainderでも間違えません。しかし、"remainder"のみの方が自然です。
