「その日の気分で」＝howfeel on that day.

❶ Play it by ear といいます。

この表現は元々の意味は「音楽の楽譜を見ずに、耳を信じて楽器を弾く」、という意味です。
でも今では「予定を決めずに、その場の流れで決める」という意味で使います。

例えば、
Japanese people like to plan ahead of time, but many people from other countries usually just play it by ear.
(日本人は前もって予定を立てるのが好きですが、他の国の多くの人は予定を決めずに、その場の流れで決めたりする)。
