「助詞」は英語で "particle" となります。日本語に関する特別な文法の言葉なので、"particle" の意味をもう少し詳しく説明したい場合に "Japanese particles, called "joshi", are suffixes or short words in Japanese grammar that immediately follow the modified noun, verb, adjective, or sentence. Their grammatical range can indicate various meanings and functions." を使えます。
上記の二つの英訳例の中、「表します」に相当する言葉を二つ述べました。
express を使いますと 「表現する・表す」というニュアンスが入り、
indicate ですと、「示す」の意味合いになります。
どちらでもほぼ一緒なんですけど。
