工事中って英語でなんて言うの？
家の周りが今工事中ですごくうるさいです。なのでスカイプでレッスンする時、先生にそのことを説明したいです。

そのまま訳すと、「[工事](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/3684/)中」は「Under construction」になります。
しかし、これは警告板などに記載されている文言です。
例えば、ウェブサイトがまだ工事中なら、大きく「Website under construction」と表示される事が多いです。
会話の中でいうなら、「There's construction going on right now, so that's why it's loud」などと説明すると良いと思います。
