直近って英語でなんて言うの？

最新情報や最新のデータなどを言いたい時の「直近の」って英語で何と言いますか？

直近は一般的に recent と言います。

例えば「これが直近の[データ](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/34299/)です」と言いたいなら、This is the most recent data と言えます。

「直近」を調べたら proximate という言葉が出ましたが、実は私はこの言葉を聞いたことがないです。
