程度って英語でなんて言うの？

こういう言葉は副詞ですね、「副詞」＝「Adverb」、「程度」＝「Degree」、ということで「Adverbs of degree」を提案しました。英語で程度を表す例：「Extremely」＝「非常に」、「Considerably」＝「かなり」、「Somewhat」＝「多少」。

「程度」は一つの言い方が degree です。例えば「重要さの程度」の程度であれば degree of importance と言います。

もう一つの言い方は level です。例えば level of importance と言えます。

アメリカでは degree より level の方を良く聞きます。Degree はイギリスのかたが使うようなイメージがあります。

"degree" ←これは具体的な数字を想像しなくてもいいです。

"amount" ←これはよく数字を想像しながら言います。

下記の例文の場合、"degree"の方が相応しいと思います。

「「非常に」とか「かなり」とか程度を表す言葉が知りたいです。」の例文：
・"I want to know words that express the degree of things, such as 'extremely' or 'considerably'."

・"I want to know words that express the amount of things, such as 'extremely' or 'considerably'."

1.) degree (程度)　「程度」は英語でdegreeと訳せます。
例えば、
To what degree do you go running? (走ることはどんな程度とやりますか？)

「非常に」は英語でveryと訳せます。Veryのほうが形容詞なので、ご注意ください。副詞を使いたい場合は「非常に」がa lotと訳せます。
例えばの答え、
I go running a lot. (非常に走っています)

「かなり」は英語でquite a bitと訳せます。
例えばの答え、
I go running quite a bit. (かなり走っています)

「程度」は英語で degree や level と言います。

I want to learn the words that express the degree of things such as extremely or considerably.
（非常にとかかなりのように程度を表す言葉を学びたいです。）
