「～ヵ月でいいから」をeven just for ~ monthsと訳しました。
Even if only for ~ monthsでもいいです。
アメリカへ「行く」という動詞よりは「暮らす」を使った方が自然かもしれません。
I want to live in America, even if only for 3 months.
I would be happy to go to America even if I could only go for three months.
I would love to live in the United States even if it were only for a few months.

「３ヶ月だけだとしてもアメリカに行けたら嬉しいのにな。」
even if I could only... で「...だけだとしても」
2) I would love to live in the United States even if it were only for a few months.
「数ヶ月だけだとしてもアメリカに住みたいなあ。」
even if it were only... 「…だけだとしても」を使っても言うことができます。
a few months は「２〜３ヶ月・数ヶ月」
