ある時、何気なく自分のInstagramのフォロワーを見ていたら、友人男性が私のフォローをやめていました。
その事を純粋に彼に聞きたいです。
あまり強い言い方ではなくお願いします。

「Instagramのフォローをやめた理由」は英語でこの以下の例です。
１）the reason you stopped following me on Instagram
２）the reason why you unfollowed me on Instagram
フォロー= follow
やめた= stopped
フォローをやめた= unfollowed
理由= reason (why)
彼に質問する時は、”What’s the reason you stopped following me on Instagram？”や ”Why did you unfollow me on Instagram?" って言う質問になります。

どうして私のインスタのフォローをやめたの？
フォローをやめることを unfollow と言います。Facebookであれば unfriend。これはインターネット用語ですね。
「理由は？」と聞かずに「どうして？」と聞けばそこまできつくないかな〜？と思ったりします。
