年明けは 'New Year's' と言います。お正月（1月1日)は 'New Year's day' です。
ですから 'I have to work on New Year's day.' は「お正月（1日）は仕事が入っています。」という意味です。
1日以降も仕事が入っていることを表現すると次のようにできます。
'I have work on New Year's until the 4th.'
「年明けは4日まで仕事が入っています。」
注意：月日を話すときは1日は 'the 1st (first)' 2日は 'the 2nd (second)' と3日は 'the 3rd (third)' です。
「年明け」は確かにお正月も含むけど、もっとざっくりというと「beginning of the year」と言います。「仕事が入ってます」は「have work」という表現です。もし自分で仕事を入れる場合は「I put work on 〇〇」。
バイトは土曜日にも入れてます。
I have my part-time job also on Saturday.
冬休みは二週間の休みとれたので、さすがに仕事は入ってなかった。
I got two weeks off for winter vacation, so of course I didn't put work in.
