その場限りの関係って英語でなんて言うの？

「その場限りの関係」はそのまま英語にするのはなかなか難しいですが直訳だと「A relation limited to that place」となります。すこし不自然な感じです。もっと詳しく言うと自然な文章になります。 たとえば“I only have to see them that one time so...”は”その時にしか会う必要がないので・・・」とか、”I’m only temporarily dispatched at that location so…”は「一時的にその場所に派遣されただけなので・・・」とか、”I will only be involved with them for the duration of that job”は「その仕事の期間満了までしか関わらないので・・・」です。 その場限りの人間関係だから我慢できることも、怒られたり叱られたりされてることを実際に言うともっと自然な感じになります。 “I can put up with 〇〇”は「〇〇を耐えられる」、「〇〇を我慢できる」という意味です。 “I can put up with their behavior”は「彼らの言動を耐えられます」、”I can put up with them getting angry at me.”は「彼らに怒られるのも我慢できる」です。

どちらかと言うと短期的って意味でのその場限りの関係です。 「その場限りの人間関係なので我慢できる」 "It's a temporary relationship so I can bear it" など

「その場限りの関係」は、「深い感情の繋がりがない関係」という意味で、 ”a relationship/friendship without a strong/deep emotional connection” "not having a personal relationship with ~" "not having a deep relationship/friendship with ~" と言うことも出来ます。 「職場の人とはその場限りの人間関係なので怒られても気にしない。」は、 "I have relationships without strong emotional connections with my coworkers so I don't really deal with their anger." "I don't have deep/personal relationships with my coworkers so I don't really deal with their anger." "deal with ~"は「～に対処する」、"anger"は「怒り」という意味です。 "relationship"は、「人との関係性」のことですが、「恋愛関係」という意味もあります。「友人関係」という場合は、"friendship"です。 また、シンプルに、 "I'm not close to my coworkers" 「私は職場の人と親しくない。」 と言うことも出来ます。 ご参考になれば幸いです。
