名称って英語でなんて言うの？

基本的にname「名前」だけで伝わります。
Title は映画や本などの「タイトル」です。

「何という名前か」というとき、calledも使えます。

彼の名前は？
What’s he called?

"name"は「名称」を意味します。作品（本・曲・映画・論文など）の名称は"title"と言います。そして、人・ペット・船・ビル・団体・会社などの場合は"name"が自然です。

"what ~ is called"は「名称」の意訳です。"title"と"name"の代わりに、「～の名称は何ですか？」＝"What is ~ called?"と言えます。

例文一：
Could you tell me the name of that building?
その建物の名称を教えてください。

例文二：
Could you tell me what that building is called?
その建物の名称を教えてください。

例文三：
That building's name is Trump Tower.
そのビルの名称はトランプ・タワーです。

例文四：
That building is called Trump Tower.
そのビルはトランプ・タワーと言います。

英語では「名称」の言葉を「name」、または「title」と言います。しかし英語の両方の言葉に少しの違いが含まれています。一番目の「name」は「名前」と同じ意味を持ち、二番目の「title」はもっと具体的、例えば「誰、何かの名称」との意味になります。

この像の名称は何ですか。

その人の名称はなんですか。
その人は伯爵です。

名称は英語で name と言います。「名前」と同じ name ですが、名称はちょっと凝っている言い方です。例えば「その建物の名称を教えてください」を言いたいなら What's the name of that building と言えます。同じように、例えば What's the name of that song?（曲名を教えてください）とも言えます。
