友達と話していて、友達が通行人の邪魔になっているときって英語でなんて言うの？

直訳ですが、こんな言い方になります。

When my friend was in the way of people while we were talking.
私たちが（友達と）話していて通行人の邪魔になっていた時。

という感じです。

邪魔になっている
be in the way

通行人
passer-by
ですが、普通に people 人と言えば一番簡単に伝わります。
