「～の状態にもっていく」って英語でなんて言うの？

「〜に持っていく」は help to 〜（動詞）でいいです。 「毎話が進むように持っていく」は 　help to keep the conversation moving/going 　（会話が続くように手助けする） これでほぼ骨格ができたので、後は 「狙った話題」は aimed topic 「司会者の役割」は The role of an MC（=master of ceremony） 以上から、 　The role of an MC is to help to keep the conversation moving/going in the aimed topic. となります。
