「You asked me to give her the adapter」
「Although I may not be able to...」と言ったら、アダプターがないせいという問題は不明です。「You asked me to... 」と「Although I ...」は、どういうい関係でしょう？って聞きたいです。
その意味で「that'll make me unable to」「won't be able to ... without it」「then」を上記の例文に入りました。
