大げさなって英語でなんて言うの？

イギリス人の俳優がアメリカ人の発音を大げさで演技することが多いです
He was「彼は」 so over the top「とても大げさ」 in his presentation of the Kansai dialect「関西弁の演技」

That actor「あの俳優は」 really overdid「～をやりすぎた」 the dialect「～弁」 he was trying.「やっていた」

1) The guy in the drama spoke in a Kansai dialect but he overdid it and it wasn't natural.
「ドラマの俳優が関西弁を話してたんだけど、大げさすぎて不自然だった。」

2) The guy in the drama was trying too hard when he spoke with a Kansai dialect and it came out wrong.
「ドラマの俳優は関西弁を話すときに大げさすぎて変だった。」

このシチュエーションでの「大げさ」は
overdo「やりすぎる・誇張する」
trying too hard 「頑張りすぎる・度が過ぎる」
が使えるかと思います。
