求められるって英語でなんて言うの？

求める・to want, to request, to demand
求められる・to be wanted/requested/demanded＝> requiredと言います。

The higher the salary,
給料が高い仕事ほど

the more skills and education are required.
直訳：the higher the required ability
求められる能力が高い気がします。

required abilities = 求められる能力
required skills = 求められるスキル

「求められる」という言葉を英語で表すと、「desired」という言葉も「required」という言葉も使っても良いと考えました。この二つの言葉は形容詞です。例えば、「desired abilities」と「required abilities」と言っても良いです。「Abilities」は「能力」という意味があります。例えば、「Higher salary jobs have more desired abilities.」と「Higher salary jobs have more required abilities.」と言っても良いです。「Higher salary job」は「収入高い仕事」という意味があります。

クラブへの入会は、日本の一部の学校では求められる活動です。
Joining a club is a required activity in some schools in Japan.

2. expected の例文:

高賃金の仕事をしたいなら、あなたは良い能力と知識を持っていることが求められる。
If you want a high paying job, it's expected that you have good abilities and knowledge.

この三つの言葉はmomokoさんのノートの文に適切です。Required は「必要」というニュアンスがありますから、一番強いの方です。Sought after は「seek after（求める）」から来ます。Desired は「欲しい」という意味がありますから、一番弱いの方です。

給料が高い仕事ほど、求められる能力が高い気がします。

To demand と to be in demand というのは「求められる」という意味です。

例: People with good communication skills are highly demanded in business sphere.
ビジネス分野では、優れたコミュニケーション能力を持ってる人々が強く求められています。

例: Vegan food is in demand now because people started to worry about the environment.
人々が環境を心配し始めたので、ビーガン食品は今求められています。
