時間、日時を変更することは英語で、この二つの言い方があります。
まず、change はどの場面でも用いられる言葉です。
Would it be okay to change the time of the appointment?
Hey JP, I gotta change the time we’re meeting for lunch.
丁寧に言いたい場合、reschedule と言います。
Very sorry, but I'm afraid I need to reschedule our appointment.
友達同士で、go with ~ instead というパターンが使えます。
Hey JP, can we go with 3pm instead of 2?
「変更する」は様々な言い方で表現できますが、よく使うのは次の三つであります。
change
modify
alter
例えば、「サイズを変更する」は”change the size"や"modify the size"または”alter the size”で結構です。
時間の場合は、「2時のアポを3時に変更する」は”change the appointment time to 2"や時間の場合は”reschedule"という単語もオッケーです。
「アポを変更する」は”reschedule the appointment"になります。

「変更する」は英語で場合によって色々な表現があります。計画の場合に一番使いやすいのは to change です。これは動詞と名詞として使えます。そして、どんな場合でも to change を使ったら構いません。例えば、
I’m going to change the appointment from 2 o’clock to 3 o’clock.
2時のアポを3時に変更します。
または to adjust も言えます。これは上記と同じ意味ですが、変更は普段には少ないことです。そして、to adjust は元の計画が少しよくなかったが、今は直ったみたいなイメージです。例えば、
Adjust the game tonight because we don’t have enough people.
人数が足りないので、今夜のゲームの変更をしてください。
