例文、
言動で彼の性格などが現れるーHis actions reflect the goodness or badness of his character/personality. ここで、’the goodness or badness of his character’を使いましたが、日本語で言うと、性格の良いところと悪いところという意味です。
性格を英語で、'Personality', 'Character'といった表現で意訳することが出来ます。
もう一つの有名な英語の諺なんですが、
'Actions speak louder than words.'
日本語で直訳しゅると、行動は、言葉より大声で話すという意味になります。
