「積み重ねる」「積み重なる」は "pile up" と言えます。"pile" は「（積み重なってできた）山」を指します。
例：I piled up all the boxes in one corner.「隅に箱を全部積み上げました」
In winter, snow piles up high in Hokkaido. 「冬には北海道では雪が高く積もります」
また、"pile up" は形がないものにも使えます。
例：I have a lot of work piled up. 「仕事が山積みです」
