翻訳アプリが変な翻訳をしているって英語でなんて言うの？

外国の人に翻訳アプリを使って話しかけられたのですが、おかしな日本語や単語が出てきてて「翻訳アプリが変な翻訳をしています」と言いたいです。よろしくお願いします
It's kind of bad translation.と言ってしまったのですが、何かいい伝え方はありますか？

翻訳機は「translator」でも大丈夫です（翻訳者も translator と言います。）
