還元するって英語でなんて言うの？

return / give back / share = 還元する

取り上げた例の「還元」は英語でぴったりな単語がありませんが「to return/repay/give back＋得られたこと+どのように還元するつもりなのか」の文章にすれば意味が伝わると思います。

例文1：
X company says that it will return/give back/share a portion of this financial year's profits to society by making donations to non-profit organizations.
X社は様々なNPOに寄付することによって今年度の利益を社会に還元します。

例文2：
John intends to return/give back to his company the skills gained from his training course by sharing what he has learnt with his colleagues.
ジョーンは研修会で習得したスキルを同僚に教えることによって会社に還元するつもりです。

「還元する」を調べますと reduce が出ますが、これは化学の文脈で使う言葉です。今の文脈ですと give back で大丈夫だと思います。例えば「会社がコミュニティーに還元する」は The company gives back to the community と言えます。これはいわゆる Corporate Social Responsibility（CSR)の一環です。

pass along (the rewards, profits, etc.)の意味は、いい物を他の人々とシェアしたり、挙げたりすることです。
使い方は： The community bank passed along a portion of its profits by donating to school associations.（地方銀行が利益のある程度の部分を学校の団体に寄付した。）

“Pay it forward”は似てる意味を持つ表現です。「恩送り」という言葉とほぼ同じ意味だといわれます。使い方は：I just won the lottery. I think I’ll pay much of it forward. （宝くじ当たったよ。ほとんどを恩送りしようと思ってる。）

to reduce も　to decrease もよく使われています。

例：
The company will not reduce the price for the new product.
会社は新製品の価格を引き下げません。

The population decreased dramatically over the past ten years.
過去10年間で人口は非常に減少しました。
