こんにちは！
「外出禁止」は grounded がぴったりだと思います。
何か悪いことをした時とか、罰として家から出るのを禁止することなどを言います。
例：
Dad: You're grounded.
父：外出禁止だ。
Daughter: What?! But there's a party tonight!
娘：は？！今夜バーティーなんだよ！
Dad: I don't care. Don't use my credit card without permission.
父：知らねーよ。俺のクレジットカード勝手に使うんじゃねえ。
ちなみに grounded の由来は、戦争中の軍用機のパイロットが離陸許可をもらえず、地面（ground）から飛び立てない状態からきている、というのをきいたことがあります（本当かは知らないけど納得はできる）。

For example: "I stayed out til 1 am last night and now I'm grounded for a week."

----> groundedされた誰か、特に子供は、罰として室内にいなければならない。
例文です。
I am grounded because I stayed out late.
ー遅くまで出かけていたから、外出禁止だ。
My sister is grounded because she forgot to do her chores.
ー彼女は雑用をするのを忘れていたので外出禁止だ。
My daughter is grounded because she is naughty.
ー私の娘はわんぱくなので外出禁止だ。

GROUNDED: An Americanism....Believed to b related a reference to pilots &aircraft,being "unable to take off."..restricted movement or "forbiddent to fly."

When a young person disobeys the rules they are "grounded for (.x )amount of time.She behaved very badly indeed and " was grounded for 3 months..".

若者が規則に従わなかった場合、一定の期間外移出禁止になります。
例文

彼女は素行がとても悪かったので、3ヶ月外出禁止になった
When a child is not allowed to go out as a punishment it is called being "grounded". For example you can say:
"I can't go out tonight as I am grounded."
or to a child you could say "You are grounded for one week."
子供が罰として外出を禁止されたら "Grounded"（外出禁止になる） といいます 。
例えば次のように言う事ができます。
【例】
"I can’t go out tonight as I am gounded." （
外出禁止されているので今夜は出かける事が出来ません）
または子供に次のように言う事も出来ます。
【例】
"You are grounded for one week."
（あなたは一週間外出禁止です）
Eg "John has been grounded for a week as punishment for smoking at school."
"Henry is confined to his home as punishment for stealing sweets."
If something is confined, then its movements are restricted.
"John has been grounded for a week as punishment for smoking at school."
（ジョンは学校ででタバコを吸った罰として１週間の外出禁止になった。）
"Henry is confined to his home as punishment for stealing sweets."（ヘンリーはスウィーツを盗んだ罰として家に閉じ込められた。）
