  • What is the correct way to say this?

  • Is this the way to say it?

  • How should I say this?

If you would like to know the correct way to say something you can ask by using the sentences above. Sometimes there is a simpler way to say something or it could be that there is another way that is more correct to say it, your teacher can help you with correcting what you have just said. "I'm not sure I said this correct teacher, please advise me on how to say it correctly?" "Did I say this correctly?" "Please help me say this the right way teacher?"
あることの正しい言い方を聞きたいときはこれらの例のように言うことができます。 時には、もっとシンプルな言い方があるかもしれないし、別の言い方もあるかもしれません。先生があなたの言ったことを訂正してくれることでしょう。  "I'm not sure I said this correct teacher, please advise me on how to say it correctly?" (先生、これを正しく言ったかわかりません。正しい言い方を教えてもらえますか?) "Did I say this correctly?" (これ正しいですか?) "Please help me say this the right way teacher?" (先生、正しい言い方を教えてください。)

  • How would you have said that?

  • Is there a better way to say that?

  • Did I say that correctly?

Because of occasional, slight differences in English-speaking countries, it may sometimes be useful (or just interesting!) to ask something like, "How would you say that in your country?" or "How do you think they would say that in the UK?"
英語は国によって微妙に言い方が変わることがありますから、 "How would you say that in your country?"(あなたの国ではそれはどう言いますか) または "How do you think they would say that in the UK?"(イギリスではそれはどう言いますか) などと聞いても面白いかもしれません。

  • How would you say that in English?

  • What's the best way to say that?

  • How to make that sentence grammatically correct?

When someone is now learning English, sometimes it can get confusing to know what grammar, sentence construction etc to use when we want to say something. If you want to ask your English teacher how to say something in English you can ask the following questions:- 1. How would you say that in English? 2. What's the best way to say that? 3. How to make that sentence grammatically correct?
英語を学んでいると、文法や構文について確信が持てないときがあると思います。先生にどう言えばいいか質問したいなら、次のように言えます。 1. How would you say that in English?(あなたなら英語でどう言いますか) 2. What's the best way to say that?(ベストな言い方を教えてください) 3. How to make that sentence grammatically correct?(どうしたらその文を文法的に正しくできますか)

  • How would you phrase that?

  • Can you recommend a better way of putting that?

  • Is there a better way to convey what I just said?

1.How would you phrase that? To "phrase'' something means to utter or say it. The sentence is simply asking the teacher how she would articulate (express) what you just said. 2.Can you recommend a better way of putting that? To "recommend" means to suggest something. The phrase, ''putting that'' means expressing that. So basically you are asking the teacher for a different way of saying what you had just expressed. 3. Is there a better way to convey what I just said? The verb "convey" also means to say/express/verbalize a thought, emotion or opinion, etc.
1. How would you phrase that?(あなたならどう言いますか) "phrase" は「言う」という意味です。この文では、シンプルに「あなたならどう言いますか」と尋ねています。 2. Can you recommend a better way of putting that?(もっといい言い方はありますか) "recommend" は「提案する」という意味です。"putting that" はここでは「表す」を意味します。ですから、この文は「別の言い方に言い換えてもらえますか」という意味です。 3. Is there a better way to convey what I just said?(もっといい言い方はありますか) "convey" は「〔考え・感情などを〕表す、言葉にする」という意味です。

  • How would you say this sentence?

  • How would you express this sentence?

  • Is this the correct way to say this?

All three of these sentences have a very similar meaning to each other, and can be used interchangeably. - Within the first two examples, "How would you say this sentence? / How would you express this sentence?," we use the same grammatical structure with only changing the verb, "to say," and, "to express," which have the same meaning when talking about sentence meaning. - The last example, "Is this the correct way to say this?," is simply used to ask if the way that you said it is the correct way, and less so asking the teacher how they might structure the sentence.
これら三つの文は意味がよく似ていて、置き換えて使うことができます。 一つ目・二つ目の "How would you say this sentence? / How would you express this sentence?"(あなたならこの文はどう言いますか)では、同じ構文が使われています。"to say" が "to express" になっていますが、この二つの語は文の意味について言う場合、意味に違いはありません。 "Is this the correct way to say this?" は「この言い方は正しいですか」という意味です、「あなたならどう言いますか」と尋ねる質問ではありません。

  • "How would you say the sentence I just said?"

  • "How would you express that?"

If you were in the middle of an English lesson, and after speaking something in English you want to ask your teacher how he/she would say it, it would be best to say either of the following: "How would you say the sentence I just said?" or "How would you express that?".
英語のレッスンで、何かを話した後、「あなたならどう言いますか」と先生に質問したいということですね。 次のように言えます。 "How would you say the sentence I just said?"(あなたなら今の文をどう言いますか) "How would you express that?"(あなたならどう言いますか)

  • How would you say this in English?

  • Is there a better way to say this in English?

  • Is this sentence correct?

The first two questions are common ways of asking how your teacher would say what you said in English in a more natural or idiomatic way. In the second sentence, you are asking specifically about the grammatical accuracy of what you said in English.
一つ目と二つ目は「あなたならどう言いますか」の例です。より自然な言い方や慣用的な表現を尋ねます。 二つ目の例では自分の言ったことが文法的に正しかったかどうかを尋ねています。

  • How would you say this sentence?

  • What is the correct way to say this?

It's a simple task. Just use one of these sentences. The first one is a direct question, whereas, the second one is an open question. For example - I am not sure I understand it? What is the correct way to say it?
これは簡単です。上の文のどちらかを使ってみてください。一つ目の文は直訳です。二つ目の文はオープンな質問です。 例: I am not sure I understand it? What is the correct way to say it?(理解できたか自信がありません。正しい言い方を教えてください) ※ オープンな質問=「はい」「いいえ」では答えられない質問

  • What would you have said in that situation?

  • In those circumstances, what would you say?

During an English lesson etc, after speaking something in English, you want to ask my teacher how he/she would say it. Well, you either refer exactly to what you said and ask the teacher what they would have said instead (as in the first example) - or, you could speak generally, (as in the second example).
英語の授業で、自分の言った英文について「あなたならどう言いますか」と先生に質問したいということですね。 一つ目の例のように明確に自分の発言を指して「あなたならどう言いましたか」と質問することもできますし、二つ目の例のような一般的な聞き方もできます。
