・Taking this class is a prerequisite for earning your certification（資格を得るにはこのクラスを受けるのが必要条件です。）
"この前提の下で"というフレーズを使いたい時、"Under this premise," や "With this assumption," と言うと、何かをもう一度考えるよう要求していることが伝わります。
