筋肉痛が当日ではなく翌日に来るって英語でなんて言うの？

筋肉痛は英語で muscle ache, muscle soreness, muscular pain と言います。
普通の会話ではよく sore muscles と言います。
「痛い」＝to hurt, to ache と言います。

当日＝the day of
翌日＝ the day after, the next day

1) My muscles start to hurt not on the day of but on the day after.
（私の筋肉は当日ではなくて翌日から痛み始める）
2) I get sore muscles not on the day of but on the next day.
（私は当日じゃなくて翌日に筋肉痛になる）
