「[電池](https://eikaiwa.dmm.com/uknow/questions/51278/)が切れる」は"run out of battery"と言います。

My cell/phone is dead. My cell/phone battery is dead. My cell(phone) is about to die. My cell(phone) is dying.

You can use 'phone' for both 携帯電話 or スマホ Saying your phone died implies that the battery ran out. If your phone was broken you could say 'I broke my phone.'
もし、携帯電話が壊れたら、「I broke my phone.」

You are chatting with your boyfriend and want to send him one of the photos that you took on holiday. He's waiting for the photo and you start to send it but.........oh no! Your phone suddenly cuts out! You borrow a friend's phone and call your boyfriend: "My phone just went dead, sorry. I'm recharging my phone now. I'll send you the photo when it's charged." OK."
例 "My phone just went dead, sorry. I'm recharging my phone now. I'll send you the photo when it's charged."

"Juice" is a modern /slang term for electricity;-D I ran out of juice! means I had no battery left;- ")I wanted to call you but my iphone ran out of juice!"
I ran out of juice! "I wanted to call you but my iphone ran out of juice!"

  • My cell phone battery ran out

  • My cell phone battery died

    play icon

  • My cell phone battery discharged

    play icon

The first statement implies that the cell phone battery power expired. The battery ran out of power. The second statement implies that the cell phone battery became lifeless. It could no longer perform its function of supplying power to the cell phone. In the third statement, you are using 'discharged' as the opposite of 'charged' when the battery is fully charged and performs its job of powering the cell phone. In this case, it can no longer perform this function.
