腹を十字に切るって英語でなんて言うの？

日本の戦国時代では
お腹を左から右に切って短刀を抜いて、
それからみぞおちからはその辺りに切って、(つまり、十字に)
最後喉を刺して死ぬというやりかたが
正式なやり方だったみたいです。
と言いたい。

「腹を十字に切る」は
❶Cut the stomach in the shape of a cross．
(十字の形に腹を切る)。
❷Cross shaped seppuku．
(十字型 切腹)。

こう説明できます:

When performing seppuku/ suicide, a samurai would plunge the dagger into his left side and drag it across horizontally. 
サムライが切腹/自殺を行うとき、まず短刀でお腹を刺し、左から右に切ります。

Then he would pull the dagger out and plunge it again into the pit of his stomach and cut downward forming a cross. 
(それから短刀を抜いて、みぞおちから下の方を切って、十字の形に腹を切りました)。

After lastly he would slit his throat.This was the way to die in honor.
そして最後喉を刺して死にました。これが誉れをもたらす死に方でした。
