作品はプロセスの痕跡って英語でなんて言うの？

試行錯誤して出来た作品ということを表す表現です。
Any work has its own process of trial and error. あらゆる作品はその独自の試みと失敗の過程を有する。
Any work will be created from continuous trial and error. あらゆる作品はどれも弛まぬ試みと失敗から想像される。
ここではfromの代わりにthroughも使えますが、時間の経過をイメージさせるためにfromをつかっています。
Any work has its own history of trial and error. あらゆる作品は独自の試みと失敗の歴史を有する。history歴史と表現してみました。

英語の表現では、"作品"を主語にして表現するよりも、その後ろにある痕跡(=processやplanning)を主語とする方がしっくりくると思います。

There is a lot of planning and processing that goes into design.
は、processing の代わりにproducing を使用しても大丈夫です。

自分の最も好きな表現は以下です。
There is planning behind every masterpiece.

試行錯誤という単語を入れるなら、trial and error　というフレーズが良いです。
