you could add "here" to emphasise the authority the mother has over the 2 boys, i.e they have a problem and she is the only person who can fix it.

here と単語を追加することで、二人の男の子に対して、お母さんのもつ力を示したような言い方になります。
例えば、二人に何かしらの問題があり、それを解決できるのはお母さんだけといった力関係を暗示します。

You both suck/ You're just as bad as one another = You are both equally as bad.

どっちもへたくそだよ　という場合の言い方です。
