slow down は「遅くなる・ゆっくり進む・鈍化する」などの意味があるので、仕事が思うように進まないイメージですね。

「仕事にならない」を英語にすれば、「I can't concentrate on my job.」や「I can't focus on my job.」と言います。
因みに、独言として、「I can't concentrate...」や「Can't focus...」などと言っても良いです。
