ラテン語由来って英語でなんて言うの？

英単語にはラテン語由来の単語が多いと聞き、興味深いなと思いました。

ラテン語は英語で Latin と言います。
「由来」というにはいくつか言い方があります。
comes from / originates from / derived from など。

例：
「この単語はラテン語が由来」
This word originates from the Latin language.
This word is derived from Latin.
This word comes from the Latin language.

など。Latin だけでも良いですし、Latin languageでも、どちらも「ラテン語」という風に解釈されます。Latin だけを使う場合は the はつけません。
