The house has floor heating → 家には床暖がある。「家には」でそのまま訳しましたが、英語でもっと自然な言い方は、we have floor heating「私たち（の家に）は床暖がある」というような意味です。We を使うのはその家に複数の人が住んでいる場合です。
but the gas is expensive → でもガス代が高い
so → なので
we don't use it that much → （私たちは）あまり使わない

この場合、次のような言い方ができますよ。
