kyokoさん、 ご質問ありがとうございます。 「～わけじゃない！」という言い方には英語で「It's not like...」あるいは「It's not that...」 という表現が使えます。これは「It's not like there is no earthquake in Okinawa/It's not like it doesn't occur any earthquake in Okinawa,　少ないけれども沖縄でも地震があるのよ～」 occur＝起きる earthquake＝地震 It doesn't mean there is no earthquake in Okinawa.=この文も同じく「沖縄には地震が起きないわけじゃない！」という意味ですね。＝（Just because there are few earthquakes in Okinawa,it doesn't mean there's no earthquake.=沖縄には地震が少ないからといって、地震がないわけじゃない。） ご参考までに。
