その場のノリで、お酒を大量に飲むって英語でなんて言うの?

on impulseでいいのかなって思ったんですけど、、、 impulseの「衝動」っていう硬いイメージじゃなくて、もっと「ついつい」みたいな上手く「ノリ」を表せるようなライトなイメージの言葉が知りたいです。

例文一: I went with the mood and ended up drinking a lot (of alcohol). その場のノリで、お酒を大量に飲んだ。 例文二: I got caught up in the moment and ended up drinking a lot (of alcohol). その場のノリで、お酒を大量に飲んだ。 例文三: I got carried away and ended up drinking a lot (of alcohol). その場のノリで、お酒を大量に飲んだ。 ・"on impulse"は自分の中の衝動に限っていると思います。「その場のノリ」・「その場の雰囲気」は他の人がいるなら、"impulse"は相応しくないと思います。後、"impulse"はわけのわからない衝動で、理由を把握せずに何かしてしまうことを表示します。 ・"to go with the mood"は「雰囲気に乗る」を意味します。普通は好意的な雰囲気の場合に使います。 ・"to get caught up in the moment"は「図に乗る」・「調子に乗る」を意味します。悪いことに決まっていないけど、ちょっと油断して気分次第に行動してしまった意味合いです。 ・"to get carried away with"も「図に乗る」・「調子に乗る」を意味します。悪い意味で、恥を知っている感じです。 ・上記の例文では"(of alcohol)"の部分を省いても良いです。英語だと"to drink"は文脈によって「お酒を飲む」ことだと分かりやすいのです。
