I work with four other people と言うと自分の他に４人いることが言えますね。
on vacation でも「休暇中」と言えます。

私自身、「There are five of us working on the project.」というフレーズが一番自然だと思いますが、「I am working on a project with five people, including myself,」という表現も使ってよろしいです。
