何をすべきかの議論ではなく論破することが目的になってるって英語でなんて言うの？

「討論」は英語で “debate” か “discussion” と言います。 “discussion” は何かについて話している感じで特に勝ち負けはありませんが、 “debate” は勝ち負けのある感じです。「目的」は “goal” と “objective” の他に、 “aim” と “purpose” と言う事もあります。 “to aim” は「狙う」事です。「～ではなく～」の時には “rather than” と言いますが、解答１のように真ん中に入れてもいいですし、解答２のように最初に入れてもいいです。
