捨て犬 は stray dog です。
連れて帰る は to bring home と言う表現で過去形は
brought home となります。
アトムと名付けたで named it Atom と言います。
この場合のアトムは名前になるので頭文字は大文字です。
Raised it は 育てたと言います。
It は捨て犬の事を指しますが物を指してる様で気になるなら
性別に寄って him や her に変えると良いでしょう。
