必要に応じて時々開かれる会議。今日はないと思っていたのに･･･。
A："The meeting is in an hour."（会議は１時間後です）
B：①「ええ，(会議)あるんだ！」or ②「ええ，(会議)あるの！？」
このBですが、there is構文で、
①Oh, there's it! ②Oh, is there it?!
のように言えますか？
"Whaat, (there's) a meeting!" "Whaat, (there's) a meeting!?"
There's it や is there it は不自然ですね。
会議は一時間後だと言ってる人が意味ありげに meeting を
it と強調して聞いてる人がノリ良く返さない限りは使える
場面はありません。
例を言うと
"We have IT in an hour" "Whaat, there's IT!?" と言った
感じでしょうか。
会議あるのと聞く場合は is there a meeting と言う表現は
適切ですが返答として使われるのはあまりないと思います。
この場合は会議で meeting を強調して there's a meeting と
言うのが良いでしょう。
There's を省くのは有りです。
