・"to try"は「挑戦する」の普通な言い方です。形は"to try ~ing"と"to try to ~"です。例えば、目的は「早寝する」なら、"to try going to bed early"・"to try to go to bed early"になります。

・"to attempt"は"to try"の硬い言い方です。

・"challenge"を使うなら、"to challenge myself by ~"や"to take the challenge of ~"になります。"to challenge ~"の言い方は、「～を倒そうとする」ことで、"~"は人間である敵の場合に限って使います。日本語の「チャレンジ」の使い方は和製英語で、英語に直訳できません。
