things we don't need「いらない物」
dirty clothes「汚れた衣類」＝「洗濯物」

「まずはこの部屋からゴミと洗濯物を出そう。」
get rid of は「取り除く・処分する」という意味です。
garbage で「ゴミ・ガラクタ」
laundry で「洗濯物」
