試しにやってみたけど、あまり使えなかったって英語でなんて言うの？

個人的にあまり使えなかったと言いたい場合は I didn't find it really useful と言う方が適切な気がします。 Application は app と略しても良いと思います。 試しにやる は to try out と言う表現も使えます。 役に立たなかったと言う意味に近い 使えなかった だと it was no good と表現すると良いでしょう。
