耐久試験条件が厳しいって英語でなんて言うの？

「今回の製品の耐久試験条件はいつものより厳しい」と言いたいのですがこの「厳しい（過酷）」にふさわしい単語が分かりません。具体例で言うと、振動試験の耐久時間がいつもより長いときなどですが、これを抽象的に「厳しい」と言いたいとき、どんな単語がふさわしいのでしょうか？
