（例文）I studied for my test.
（訳）私はテストのために勉強をした。

（例文）I studied Chinese yesterday.
（訳）私は昨日中国語の勉強をしました。

・read a book＝「本を読んだ」
（例文）I read a book last night.
（訳）私は昨晩、本を読んだ。

・at a cafe=「カフェで」

・today=「今日」

ーI went to a coffee shop to study English and read today.
−I spent some time studying English and reading at a cafe today.
のように言えます。

例：
I went to a coffee shop to study English and read today and there weren't very many people there because of the coronavirus, so it was very relaxing. On the other hand, I had to wear a mask which was not so comfortable. It was hard to breathe with the mask on.
「今日はカフェで英語の勉強と読書をしました。コロナウイルスのためあまり人がいなくて快適でした。だけどマスクを着用しなければいけなかったので息苦しくて不快でした。」
