天国で会えたと思う？って英語でなんて言うの？

他界してる友人の祖母と祖父について英語で質問したいです。
Do you think your grandma reunited with your grandpa up in heaven?でいいですか？
meetを使うのかsawなのかわかりません。

\"天国で会えたと思う？\" は英語で Do you think they met in heaven? といえます。
しかし、私は　Do you think they were able to meet in heaven? といいます。
過去形 -> 未来形 
なぜかわかりません...もう少し優しい？言葉使いだと思います。

でも大丈夫だと思いますよ。ちゃんと言いたいことは通じます！
しかし私だったら Do you think your grandma was able to be reunited with your grandpa up in heaven? といいます。
