娘(お姉ちゃん)が通っていた学校に息子（弟）が入学しました。
娘は生徒会に選ばれたりとてもしっかりしていて、親が何も言わなくても勉強するし、親として何も心配はありませんでしたが、やはり男の子はだいぶ適当で、全てが心配です(笑)
お姉ちゃんとのギャップを伝えられる表現があったらお願いします。

another story で「別の話・また話が違う」
put effort into ... で「…に力を入れる・努力する」
