Tom様の英文が後ちょっとだけ編集すれば完璧だと思います。how is it popularじゃなくてhow popular it isに代わります。そして、overseasとinがいつでも使えません。
例：While I was overseas... I went overseas last year... People who live overseas...

例文：この作品が海外ではどれほど知られているのか分かりませんが
I don't know how popular this product is overseas.
I'm not sure how well this product is known overseas.
