「立てて入れる」は
to put something in standing up
「寝かせて入れる」は
to put something in lying down
のように表現できます。
例：
Can you put all the books in the box on their end?
「本を全部箱に立てて入れてくれますか？」
このように to put something on its end を使って「立てて入れる」とも言えます。
Please put the photo frames in the box lying down.
「フォトフレームを箱に寝かして入れてください」
lying down の代わりに on their side を使って「寝かせて入れる」とも言えます。
