ワクチンでって英語でなんて言うの？

Do you think the pandemic might settle down (by) the vaccine.
ネイティブに言ったらbyやwithは不自然と言われました。なぜwithやbyじゃくbecause ofやdue toの方がいのでしょうか。いつもbyでダメ出しされます。

下記のような表現で「で」はbyになりますね：

I go by train
電車で行く

He wrote a letter by hand
彼が手書きで手紙を書いた

byはbecause ofやdue toより、直接的な感じですね。ワクチン自体でパンデミックが落ち着くではなく、どんどん人が打たれて免疫力を持つようになって、感染拡大が防止されて、パンデミックが落ち着くと言うことですね

ですが、Do you think that the vaccine will cause the pandemic to settle down?は個人的に一番自然だと思います。Do you think the pandemic might settle down because of the vaccine?もいいですね。
