日本はワクチンの接種が遅れています。って英語でなんて言うの？

(日本では、新型コロナウイルスのワクチン接種が遅れています。私たちは他の国に比べてはるかに遅れをとっています。） delayは「遅れる」という動詞になります。 Vaccination for〜で「〜のワクチン摂取」です。 be behindで「遅れる、遅れを取る」です。 wayは口語的ですが、強調するときに使います。「遅れを取りすぎている」というような訳になります。 参考になれば幸いです。
